The heart of Formula Evolution competition.
Manage your team, negotiate contracts, and race to the top of the leaderboards.
If you DNF, you still receive your base salary, and any points or position bonuses for the place you secured (e.g. crashing out but classifying P10).
If you DNS (fail to show up for your assigned seat), you receive absolutely nothing: no points, no base salary, and no bonuses. Therefore teams will often assign a big bonus to low positions, to ensure you participate in races.
The Clean Race Bonus replaces the old driver consistency mechanics. If you finish a race without the Admin marking you as having a Penalty, you instantly receive this bonus payout along with your base salary!
Yes. Teams start with $0 and rely entirely on sponsors to pay their drivers. A team can go into debt up to -$10,000. If a team drops below that limit, drivers will receive partial or no pay for the race. Some sponsors will also immediately drop teams that fall into debt!
If a Manager fires a driver or drops a sponsor, the Team pays the break clause penalty instantly. If a Driver resigns from a team, the Driver pays the penalty to the team out of their own pocket. If you don't have enough money, you cannot break the contract!
Yes! In your "My Team" dashboard, there is a tool to sign yourself to your own active roster. Just remember, as the manager, you are paid last when race rewards are distributed! As an alternative you can also just create another account, where you don't sign up as manager. This also allows you to drive for other teams.
Contracts can be posted on the Market page. If you are a manager you propose a contract for all drivers. Every driver will be able to react and start the negotiation. As soon as both the team and driver accept the same contract it becomes active. If you are a driver, all teams will be able to react.
